Did Bullying Kill her? 13 REASONS WHY!

A butterfly can cause hurricanes and that is why it’s called the butterfly effect! This has been depicted tastefully in our beloved series “13 Reasons Why,” which was being aired on Netflix. In the society of judgmental people at every step, it sometimes gets harder for our children to carve a niche for themselves. We need to understand that every person is different with his/her own strengths and weaknesses. Teenage is like a roller coaster ride on the way to adulthood and it needs to be handled carefully or otherwise, you end up getting directionless! And what if a person is going through an emotional turmoil already? Will you help them? Make fun of them? Well, this is absolutely your own moral decision but as long as a butterfly will continue to flap its wings it will continue to cause hurricanes and if you happen to be a part of the calamity it will take you through! No, I’m not trying to warn or something but it’s just a metamorphic way of saying, “what goes around comes around.”

Now, we all are human beings, we will make mistakes and sometimes we will have to say no. But if we can take out few minutes to figure out ways to say it without hurting someone else’s feelings, we never know what might they are going through, it will be an act of kindness. Clay Jensen, a quite, reserved and the list of adjectives can just go on, was going through an internal hurricane after he came to terms with the truth, slowly and steadily this is the effect I was talking about. Sometimes, even when we may not realize it in the present, our deeds and actions towards others can create a profound effect on us as much as it can on others.

Okay, we talked a lot about others’ actions, words on us but what about self-care? As much as it is our responsibility to act humanely towards others it is towards ourselves, as well! Sometimes it’s okay not to give second chances and to care about us. It’s high time that we prepare ourselves mentally, physically and in whichever ways possible to accept ourselves the way we have been built. There is always a room for improvement if we are ready to give ourselves chances. Because if we cannot accept ourselves nobody else ever will. If we are not ready to accept our situation, nobody else ever will!

Remember! We all are butterflies and if a butterfly flaps its wings in the right way it spreads colors, not hurricanes!
