Reasons Why Reliance Jio is a Great Option

I have been using Jio, the new player in the market, for about 5 months now since I had a demo sim. The speeds were blazingly fast at that time even in the remote areas and as the welcome offer was launched on 5th of September the number of users increased and the speed went terribly down but around 2 weeks ago after what is claimed to be a 50,000 Cr spectrum sale the speed is getting back on the track.

What it actually offered is unlimited calls and messages and unlimited data with the daily limit of 4 GB which can be used at high speed and past that unlimited at a rather slow speed. Now what happened is the market of Airtel, Vodafone and Idea started to tremble, so they started dropping the jio calls made to their network (not legal btw) and the users started to get angry as they later did when the speeds dropped, recently these companies were fined a hefty amount after a series of complaints and notices. Finally, everything is getting better, just have faith in Jio.

Another problem came when TRAI questioned its welcome offer which started on 5 September, launch date of the sim, and was supposed to end on 31 Dec but according to TRAI a company can not offer a welcome offer lasting more than 90 days so it was then rescheduled to end on 3rd December which again irked users which I don’t understand, how can someone complain about something which they are getting for absolutely free of cost. Despite that many were happy as the post 3 Dec data plans were much cheaper than other retailers and voice calls were already promised to be free forever.

Why are these plans so cheap? After the initial setup of the company not much goes in as the investment and earning are much much high, there are many players in the markets but being the most reputed Airtel and Vodafone took it to their advantage and created something that looks like the monopoly. The same thing has happened in the past, when Mukesh Ambani was the head of Reliance Communications, though, for a brief time, he forced other companies to drop their prices which is what he is trying to do again because practically every company is charging way too much.

On the other hand a good news for those who are going to purchase a new iPhone, they will be welcomed with an offer by jio for 1 year straight and everything free of cost. Obviously, a 4G phone is needed to run this sim but many 3G phones can also be turned to support this using a trick which you can easily find on google or drop your concern in the comment section.

In the last I would like to reveal the latest turn in the story, yes Jio can not offer a welcome offer longer than 90 days but there is no limit to how many time you can give the welcome offer, so it has decided to give another offer commencing from 4th Dec and lasting till march 2017, rather a very good news for all those who have the sim and for others who were confused about getting it.

My verdict, it is completely free of cost and the quality is improving day by day so if anything I would definitely give a green signal for this. Go grab it and enjoy the unlimited internet and calls.
