Bollywood industry produces thousands of movies every year, but there are some movies or some particular scenes from these movies that leave an indelible mark on the audience and people remember them for always.

1. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

DDLJ had to top this list. The epic scene in which after Simran’s father let her go, she (Kajol) runs to get in the train which Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) had already boarded is the first thing that comes to our mind when we think of “Dilwalw Dulhaniya Le Jayenge”.

2. Jab We Met

This movie has multiple scenes in which the two actors- Shahid and Kareena, get on and get off the train. Geet (Kareena) misses her train twice and it is in the train only that the two leads in the movie, Geet and Aditya meet.

3. Kick

In the train sequel of ‘Kick’, Salman Khan leaves the bicycle behind and crosses a railway track while a train nearly hits him.

4. Chennai Express

Shah Rukh Khan re-created the ‘DDLJ’ train sequence by pulling Deepika Padukone into one of the compartments. The funniest part comes when he continues to pull in more people.

Hrithik Roshan performs stunts on the roof of a running train in ‘Dhoom 2’.

6. Dil Se

Who hasn’t seen SRK and Malaika Arora Khan’s ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ dance sequel in ‘Dil Se’?! The item number was shot on the top of a moving train.

7. Ghulam

“Ghulam” featuring Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji has a scene in which Aamir races with the train. It is one of the most daring and risky scenes in Bollywood.

Salman Khan’s Wanted has a scene in which some goons misbehave with Ayesha Takia. Salman Khan soon comes to her rescue and teaches the villains a lesson.

9. Gadar- Ek Prem Katha

Gadar-Ek Prem Katha starring Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel is a love story based on India-Pakistan. While, Sunny Deol almost fights with the entire Pakistan mass, an action scene on train in a much popular one.

10. The Burning Train

The multi-starrer movie ‘The Burning Train’ is a 1980 film which is fully based on a train accident. Most of the part of the film is shot inside a train itself.

11. Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani

In Ayan Mukherjee’s blockbuster film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’Ranbir Kapoor pulls Deepika inside the train as it starts leaving the station. There are several other scenes in the movie shot inside the train where the the group is shown playing fun games on their way to Manali.
