Believe it or not, but Sarojini and Janpath now have trial rooms!
The lack of trial rooms may be the only downside to scouring the labyrinthine lanes of Delhi’s flea markets like Sarojini Nagar, Janpath and Lajpat Nagar for bargains.
In our feverish enthusiasm to score the best deals, while also grabbing the season’s raging styles, it’s always a bummer when that perfect pair of jeans don’t fit when you try them on at home!
There is some good news for all the shopping fanatics out there. The favourite flea markets of Delhi shoppers- Sarojini Nagar and Janpath- now have trial rooms for ladies to try out outfits before buying.
One such trial room was recently setup in the Janpath market. “We took permission from New Delhi Municipal Council for setting up a trial room in Janpath and the authorities allowed us to,” said Meghna Saraogi, founder of Styledotme, a fashion advice app, who set up the trial rooms.
Although the trial rooms were put up last weekend, only for two days, the concept has already received a big thumbs-up, not only from shoppers but also from sellers.
