Rahul Gandhi was recently mocked for a speech he made at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in Mumbai.
He was trolled for not knowing the founder of Microsoft. A video was shared in which Rahul Gandhi, apparently, said, “…One day you’re going to run this country, run the institutions, you will be the Steve Jobs of Microsoft..the Facebooks of this country…”
#SteveJobsOfMicrosoft started trending on Twitter soon after the video was circulated.
But a close watch of the video manifested that it was not a blooper. I know it’s disappointing, but we have to sacrifice this Rahul Gandhi blooper for the sake of accuracy.
This is what he actually said: “You will be the Steve Jobs and the Microsofts and the leaders of the Facebooks of this country.”
