Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan are expecting a baby girl in their life. He has posted that he will be taking a two month off from Facebook followed by the birth of their child. He also stated that when parents take off from their work on arrival of the new born the outcomes are better for the child and the family.
Maternal leave is something we all are aware of but we are in an age where paternal leave also exists. Companies provide leave to the fathers of new born for care and spending time with the baby. Father is as equally a parent as mother and needs time to be with the child and give him his attention and love.
This step will encourage men to take paternal leave and give their affection to the new member of the family which they really need.
