Polluted air is what we breathe. No matter you are a smoker or not you inhale so much of pollutants which is equal to smoking a few cigarettes. So much has been done to reduce the pollution levels and make the air cleaner for breathing. Delhi has even adapted the odd-even scheme for this. But is this the only solution?
A car mechanic of Madhya Pradesh has a solution for this. Raees Mohammad Makrani a car mechanic who has studied only up to class 12 has invented a car which runs on water. Amazing isn’t it? The car runs on acetylene gas which is formed by a chemical reaction between calcium carbide and water.
Makrani says, “The gas is used for several industrial purposes including welding and portable lighting for miners. But in my case, I am using it to propel the car engines.” He has patent for his innovative car and has been invited by Chinese automobile companies to develop the idea further for them.
