While getting ready to go out we often observe how dull our skin is looking and how damaged our hair are. If this happens with you too then let me tell you that you can’t change that in a single go, just before going out. If you want healthy skin and hair you need to work for them, a little every day, so that it reflects in the long run.

Imbibe a few habits in your daily lifestyle which will make you skin glow and hair shine.

1. Don’t take your makeup to bed

No matter how exhausted or lazy you feel, make it a habit. If you think you haven’t applied much makeup and just sleep like that, please remove it, even if it is just kajal. This will make your skin breathe and it will feel fresh.

2. Wash your face twice a day

Don’t forget to wash your face at night before going to bed and in the morning. After removing your makeup washing your face will remove the residual makeup. Also, washing in the morning will make your skin wake up. Making this a habit will do great wonders for your skin

3. Exfoliate

Don’t just exfoliate your face but your whole body. You need to remove dead skin cells from your complete body to have a healthy glowing skin. Don’t forget to exfoliate your underarms, lips or breasts.

4. Moisturise

Exfoliation can make your skin a little dry so don’t forget to moisturise. The best time to moisturise is just after the shower. This will trap the moisture in your making your skin soft, smooth and glowing.

5. Find what works for you

A kajal or liner that someone swears by may not work for you. A shampoo that has done wonders to your best friend’s hair may not be as good for you. Find out what basic products work for you and stick with them. Many times while experimenting various things we do more damage than any good.

6. Pamper your hair

Give you hair a little pampering once a week. You can use a hair mask to replenish them or simply oil them so that they are not dry and frizzy. If you have damaged ends getting a trim is the best you can do for your hair. If you think the trim will shorten the length and you want to grow your hair, damaged ends won’t result in healthy growth anyways.

7. Clean your tools

Don’t forget to take care of the tools you use for your makeup. It is very important to clean your makeup brushes, sponges, and blenders at regular intervals. If not done so this can lead to infections and breakouts due to the bacteria that grows in them.

8. Declutter

All good things come to an end, your makeup is no exception and it comes with an expiry date. Declutter your dresser and the makeup you own that has expired or you no longer use. Giveaway all that which you know you won’t use. You know that product doesn’t work for you then what is the use of keeping it. Give it away to someone who can use it but don’t give anything that is expired. Just throw the expired products.

Doing a bit regularly will make you do very little when you have to go out and flaunt that beauty.
