Have you already heard of the quotation, “If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.”? That’s referring to New York City and only New York City. It’s true. New York City is pure action. It’s where the opportunities are. Lots of stars started in New York. To name a few, there are Nicholas Cage and Johnny Depp who tried their luck in some film auditions in there before they made it big in Hollywood. Bands like The Strokes and Interpol did lots of gigs in club circuits before making it to the mainstream. Lots of people from around the world go to New York to see how tough they are or how far they can go. Some made it. Some didn’t. Some started to be a waiter or a cleaner and ended up being a multi-millionaire and sorts of that.

New York City never sleeps literally. People are always busy. People are always crossing the pedestrian lanes and subways are always occupied. Who would wonder why the biggest stock exchange is located there?

Some people don’t dare stay in ‘The Big Apple’ for so long. Tourists go there to only take a peek on NYC’s notable places such as Times Square, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, etc. New York is also hailed as the World’s Capital and the Center of the Universe. It’s one of the most populous cities in the world together with Soviet Union’s Moscow and India’s Mumbai. In 2010, census recorded the city’s population of almost 19 million. No wonder New York-based superheroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, and Iron Man are so busy.
