Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan announced the birth of their daughter Max to the world. The girl is named Maxima Chan Zuckerberg taking her name from both the parents. As parents they are thrilled to have her with them. It is her presence which is inspiring them to create a better future for coming generations.
Mark wrote an open letter to his new born daughter. In that letter Mark tells what lacks in the world now and what people are doing to make it a better place to live for her and her generation. He talks about the real life problems in that including disease, poverty, inequality and lack of access to the Internet and education. In his 2200 word account he told how much can be done in every field if only access to internet is there for everyone.
Zuckerberg told his plans about his money, his company, the future of planet and how he wants to do his share for the betterment. Also as his role as a humanitarian leader he announced he will we giving away 99% of his shares of Facebook over the course of his lifetime — currently valued at $45 billion.
The gesture has received overwhelming response from all around the world. From Shakira to Bill Gates everyone is congratulating them and are all praise for the gesture they have made.
