1. Tawang-Monastery
Tawang Monastery,Arunachal Pradesh, is the largest monastery in India and second largest in the world is in close proximity to the Tibetan and Bhutanese border.
2. Zuluk
Zuluk or Dzuluk is a small village beside a winding road in sikkim. It was once a transit point to the historic Silk Route from Tibet to India.
3. Spiti Valley
The Spiti Valley is a desert mountain valley located high in the Himalaya mountains in Himachal Pradesh. The name “Spiti” means “The Middle Land”, i.e. the land between Tibet and India.
4. Zanskar Valley
Majestically rugged, the greatest attraction of this mountain-hemmed Ladakhi-Buddhist valley is simply getting there, preferably on a trek.
5. Khajjiar
Khajjiar is about 26 km from Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh. It is from one of the places in the world that bear tropical resemblance to Switzerland.
6. Rann of Kutch
It is a remarkable place to visit in Gujarat much of which consists of the world’s largest salt desert. What makes it even more amazing is that the salt desert is underwater during the main monsoon season and for the remaining eight months of the year, it’s an enormous stretch of packed white salt.
