How to Get Rid of Facial Hair at Home!

Every girl is beautiful in her own way but goes out of her way to make her look more appealing. We wax our legs, go for threading and the routine follows every month. But there is one thing that we have not yet found a permanent solution for – FACIAL HAIR.

1. Turmeric

Turmeric is said to have antibacterial effects and also it is rubbed on babies skin to curb hair growth and give them fair complexion, let’s see how it helps in slowing your facial hair growth!

For the mask

Make a fluid paste by soaking turmeric powder in water, apply to the facial area where you have excess hair and leave on for a few minutes. After it dries, use a cloth dipped in warm water to wipe away the turmeric and the hair, too. You may not want to use a lot of turmeric as it leaves it’s color behind. you can also mix rose water in the paste.

2. Gram flour

Besan is a standard ingredient for all the face packs in every indian household. The simple trick of mixing besan with turmeric can do wonders to your skin. This is believed to have the ability to remove the excess hair on the face, particularly around the mouth and chin. It also helps in getting a smooth and flawless skin.

For the mask

Mix equal amounts of gram flour and turmeric with a little water to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on the face, leave on until it dries totally and then with a cloth dipped in warm water rub off this face mask.

3. Egg

Eggs have various benefits for the skin and hair.

For the mask

Take the egg white of one egg add half a tablespoon of corn flour add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Make a smooth paste and apply this to the portion of your face that has unwanted hair. Once dried just pull it off firmly and the hair will get pulled out, too. It’s painful but the results are amazing.

4. Homemade Sugar Wax

This is a super easy and effective home remedy to get rid of unwanted facial hair.

For the wax

Mix two teaspoons of granulated sugar (brown or white) and one teaspoon each of honey and water.
Heat the mixture in a microwave or on a stove for about half a minute until it bubbles and turns brown. Allow it to cool.
Using a spatula, apply it on the areas where you want to remove the hair.
Place a cloth strip over the sugar wax and smooth it out with your fingers in the direction of the hair growth.
Finally, rip it off in the opposite direction of hair growth.
Repeat as needed.
