A 28 day old baby was allegedly raped by a 25 year old man. Yes, you read it right a 28 day baby. Can you imagine such thing even happening? We can not even imagine but such things are happening in our country. Cruelty has reached a level which we cannot even think of.
This happened in Bullandshahr, UP when parents of little girl had gone to cast their vote for Gram Pradhan elections. When they came home found their girl bleeding. Is this why we choose people in elections. This is the safety we get when we go out to vote?
They live in a village called Asif Nagla under the Khurja Dehat Police Station.Parents have filed a FIR against a man named Namino aged 25 of the same village. When the baby was taken to the government hospital in Khurja they referred her to higher care centre due to her condition.
This has left us completely shaken. What was this man thinking? Was he a psychopath? What pleasure he was expecting from that little baby? Where are women safe? From birth to the moment die they are always at risk. Where are those people who blame a girl for rape? What was that baby’s fault? Fault of being a girl?
It is high time we think about where humanity is going. Physical wounds may heal but mental scars remain forever. We hope for a healthy recovery of the child and pray for her well being. With that we also pray that the guilty is punished in all ways for what he has done.
