Celebrating the spirit of freedom on 15th of August 2015, DLF Promenade Mall is hosting a Kite Flying Festival to reinforce the age old tradition of kite flying.
While you enjoy the tri colors against the canvas of a blue sky, World of Talent will be playing live at The DLF Promenade Bridge to make the kite flying experience more entertaining and engaging for you. The catch is that we are going to host two Professional Kite Flying experts Jamaluddin and Aminuddin, the brother duo who also happen to be the tradition kite flyers from Delhi 6. They will be seen flying almost 100 kites on a single string and will be creating a visual treat for all!
Timings: The Kite flying festival will commence 12:00 pm onwards until 6:00 pm
World of Talent performance will begin 4:00pm onwards until 6: 00pm

Sons to accomplished Kite flyer Bhai Miyan who has been into kite flying since 50 years now, also run a kite making business. The largest kite flown by them was of a whopping 400 sqft and the smallest one made by them was a mere 2mm. Jamal is setting his sight on making a record of flying maximum number of kites on a single string. They have been a regular at the Ahmedabad Kite Festival and Delhi Tourism Kite Festival. Apart from the domestic events, they have also participated in various International Festivals like the Dubai Shopping Festival, Delhi Day in Moscow, in Bangladesh and in Maldives at SAARC Summit, where they have represented India amongst other participating nations.
World of Talent – Awakening of latent Talent
Since social media has eaten up most of our usual social lives, World of Talent was started for this purpose to awaken latent talent , to make people bring alive the talent they have forgotten about and also to be with it and to collect the most talented people under one roof; essentially to perform, practice, learn and share talent & giving a platform to people.
