Angad Singh Padda recently graduated Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honors) from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. He is a National Jack Kent Cooke Scholar, and the recipient of the Poets & Quants Best and Brightest Business Undergraduate Award. He managed to capture the heart of Americans and all the students from different parts of the world present at the ceremony. According to Angad, we all have only one purpose in life and that is to engage in the good. He wants to establish an institution in his homeland Chandigarh to be able to provide the necessary education for children you can’t afford school. He has a dream of taking education to miles. He said that he has a dream of imparting free of cost education services in the villages and areas which are still devoid of basic education facilities.
He gives all the credit to his mother for his success and says that she is the most selfless and hardworking individual he has ever seen in his entire life. Angad says that he is inspired also by an animal which has to be a LION. Lions are fiercely loyal and extremely supportive of each other.
