Yes, negative people are around us and there are certain ways through which one can identify them. You cannot ignore them or kill them! Yes, you have to deal with them, but that comes later once you have identified them.
Below are the seven ways through which you can identify them. Have a look.
1. They complain a lot
They are usually the victim of the difficult boss, bad luck, or their upbringing. They rarely step back to look at other factors – such as positive energy around them. Keep a close watch and be careful with this kind of people.
2. They never get happy for you
You cannot control what negative people say to you and to others. However, you have control over what you permit them to say or not say to you. Their words and actions can easily invade your heart and mind. They never get happy for you and even if you are happy over something they will always find ways to depress you and remind you of the negative site of the same.
3. They lie to you
People who avoid telling you the truth and opt to tell you what they think you want to hear are doing so for their own interests and convenience. Fearful of revealing too much information about themselves, they live in fear that doing so would be used against them in some way. They rarely think that what they share could be used in a positive light.
4. They don’t value you
When someone really cares about you, they will make time for you. There is no need for you to force someone to spend time. Know your worth and avoid those who neglect your value. A negative person will hardly recognize joy, passion, contentment, and excitement. These are not emotions or sensations that they regularly experience.
5. They try to manipulate you all the time
A true friend will accept you as you are. If someone expects you to be a different person, be very careful. It is wise to keep being who you are rather than to keep a relationship with that person. It is healthier and more favourable for you to fill a void in your life where a person used to be than it is to fill a void where you used to be. Life’s too short for these petty little miseries.
6. They will always judge you
You do not have control over what negative people say to you and to others. However, you have control over what you permit them to say. Remember that you cannot change anyone nor keep making excuses for people’s bad and negative behaviour, nor should you even try.
7. They worry a lot
“Whatever is going to happen will happen, whether we worry or not.” -Ana Monnar
These famous lines explain themselves, all these negative people do is worry a lot. Even for minor issues, they would worry so much as if some major disaster has happened. One should believe in themselves and just go with the flow because worrying won’t changes anything.
