Breastfeeding is a gesture of love and bond. The week of breastfeeding is spreading the message of motherhood and love all over the world. People who think that it is not in line with the values and ethics, should, too, be a part of this campaign to fill themselves up with love and respect for women and mothers. There have been many shaming incidents in the past regarding women feeding their babies in public. People are not supportive of the fact that women on the go have to make sure that their babies are safe and sound and healthy. It is high time that people should stop relating sexuality of a woman with motherhood. Let her breathe in love and bonding.
Model and actress Lisa Haydon, well known for her turn in Vikas Bahl’s Queen, blessed her followers Insta feed by sharing a beautiful picture, she can be seen breastfeeding her two-month-old son, Zack Lalvani. In the post, the actress said that she has received
“loads of posts asking about life after having my son… esp to do with weight and fitness,”
and so decided to explain how breastfeeding has helped the 31-year-old actress get back in shape.
I've gotten loads of posts asking about life after having my son… esp to do with weight and fitness. Seeing as it's World Breastfeeding Week- time to give some credit where credit is due. Breastfeeding has played such a big part in getting back into shape after giving birth to my baby. Breastfeeding has been challenging+time consuming (literally hours spent everyday trying to stimulate milk supply) but it's such a beautiful way to bond and connect with your child plus all the nutritional benefits that your child gets from your milk. Look out for my blog post on mycityforkids.com on breastfeeding. Happy #worldbreastfeedingweek
