Veteran actress Reema Lagoo passed away early on Thursday morning after suffering from a cardiac arrest, she was 59.
It was confirmed that she died at 3.15 am on Thursday after suffering a heart attack at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
Her son-in-law Vinay Waikul said, “She was fine but complained of chest pain around 1 pm. We took her to hospital but she dies around 3:15 am after a cardiac arrest.”
The actor was famous for playing moms in both movies and television. Her most popular movies were Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Maine Pyar Kiya, Vaastav and Kal Ho Naa Ho. She also made a name for herself in TV shows like Tu Tu Main Main and Shrimaan Shrimati.
The Actor was currently playing a negative role in ‘Naamkaran’ a show by Mahesh Bhatt. She had four filmfare awards under her name for supporting actress’ role.
