1. Manage work-life balance

Start with yourself. Try to reduce the frequencies of late night parties as it takes a toll on your health. Interacting with professionals from different time zones at odd hours for your work, is a another issue which you can’t forego. Try to follow the age old regime ‘early to bed and early to rise‘. Take one long vacation with family each year if possible. Also, being close to nature is a great way to unwind. Try your hand at cooking or create a beautiful garden of your own.

2. Be fit

Don’t obsess over fitness. Just keep it simple. Make a list of five things that you can do regularly to keep yourself fit, like follow a diet, eat on time, workout regularly, green tea instead of black and regular 6-7 hours of sleep. You can have your share of cheat days too. But trust me, this regime helps a lot.

3. Risks or Plans

Risk takers are always micro-planners. They are the ones who always have a plan A,B or C. Take your risks and do micro-planning homework to reduce the failures if and when they may happen.

4. Spiritual diet

Follow a meditation regime. Do it at any time of the day. But as you know mornings are the best. Play any chanting of mantra which will be a guard for any other noise. This will soothe and calm you.

Think before you speak. Do not spend money before you make it. Try to live life like a hermit and work like a horse.
